Walking is loaded with benefits:  Improved circulation, increased metabolism, production of new cells, 'happy' endorphins.  Walking also helps to build bone.  If able, start with a minimum of 20 minutes a day.  If not, start with 5; then increase to 10 and so on ...  If you wait 20 minutes after your meal and exercise 20 minutes, you will burn twice the calories.  This increases your metabolism.  Hence, walking every day promotes many benefits for you and your well-being.
